I’ve sat in the seat you’re in

On paper, I was doing everything right. I grew up in Bulgaria, moved to the Netherlands ten years ago, and built my career in a high-pressure scale-up growing 150% a year, rising to VP of People & Performance, Global Markets. But behind the title were 60+ hour weeks, promotions I didn't feel ready for, and teams to build from junior level up to Director, with no clear path and no one showing me how.

So I figured it out the hard way. I signed up for every leadership programme, listened to every podcast, read every book and found a mentor. None of it was tailored to what I actually needed.

I realised I was
not alone.

I saw the same thing in almost every talented woman I managed: years of great experience, ambitious goals, and no clear path or guidance on how to reach them. The biggest barrier usually wasn't the industry. It was the voice telling her to wait until she was ready. impowr was born out of a dream to see more women owning their careers and changing the face of the most influential industries in the world, which all happen to be male-dominated! ;)

I never do things halfway, and I want more women to start playing bigger too!

October 1st 2024 impowr was officially launched!

And so impowr
was born

So I built what I would have needed. I brought together my background in psychology, sales and performance leadership, everything I'd learned the hard way, my ICF coaching certification and my certificate from Harvard Business School, and turned it into a coaching model that helps women unlock the skills they already have and fulfil their potential. From there, the programmes were built to give women and organisations all the tools to PLAY BIGGER and fully own their power.

Yoana Leusin

I've always believed in women's limitless potential - a belief reinforced by my parents and my mom's phenomenal example of balancing leadership and motherhood. Despite challenges in male-dominated industries, I've seen how internal barriers are the main thing holding women back. My mission is to empower women to overcome self-doubt and realise their full potential.
